Botswana has one of the most diverse ranges of habitats in Africa, including the Okavango Delta in the north west, Chobe National Park including Savuti in the north, the Linyanti by the border with Namibia, the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in the centre, and of course the vast wilderness of the Kalahari throughout most of the rest of the country.
Through all of these adjacent landscapes, one can experience the rich wildlife, wilderness, and anthropology of this stunning country.
From the barren nothingness of the Salt Pans, to the richly populated waterways of the Okavango; from the tracking skills and trance dancing of the Bushmen, to the largest Zebra migration in southern Africa.
From the excellent fishing to the sombre and spiritual beauty of the Tsodilo Hills west of the Okavango (legendary birthplace of the bushmen); from the cavernous depths of the Gcwihaba Caves in the western Kalahari, to the tranquillity of a mokoro ride (dugout canoe).
